Masala Beans on Toast
Okay, okay, so its not strictly a curry, but then what is ? It does,
however, use spices common to a lot of curries and makes a darn good snack.
Ingredients
- 400g tin of baked beans
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- salt to taste
Method
- Place the baked beans in a large saucepan.
- Add the rest of the ingredients, stir and leave to stand for about twenty
minutes.
- Heat the beans through and at the same time toast the bread.
- Butter the toast and pour on the beans.
Serves 2.
